The Finance
Director role will be based in Dublin, reporting to the EMEA Finance Director. The
ideal candidate will be required to manage and develop the finance teams while
ensure accurate financial controls and monthly/fiscal reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities

Lead the integration of Irish business
to create one dynamic finance and accounting team
Identify opportunities to drive gross
margin improvements and non-productive spend across all functional areas
of the business.
Ensure effective and robust financial
controls are in place and reviewed regularly.
Deliver the monthly reporting and
analysis for the Irish businesses.
Prepare inputs to monthly financial
reporting, ensuring that accruals are accurately reflected, and reporting
is carried out in compliance with corporate deadlines.
Day to day interaction with Ireland
Finance Teams to ensure delivery of services in relation to invoice
processing, payments and purchase orders.
Prepare journals in line with corporate
deadlines and complete month end balance sheet reconciliations to
corporate deadlines.
Preparation of capex requests and the
control/monitoring of spending
Drive continuous process improvements
in the financial processes.
Management and development of a team of
16 (4 direct reports).
Identify and drive improvements in accounting
systems and processes.
Prepare and present the
monthly/quarterly financials to the local Leadership and Executive
operations teams.
Liaise with Group concerning tax and
treasury, as well as both internal and external auditors.

Key Skills and Experience

10 years post qualified experience (ACCA, CIMA,
CPA, Chartered)
Be a self-starter in a very dynamic environment
with the ability to both implement and continuously improve processes and have
excellent analytical skills.
Positive and enthusiastic attitude
Experience of implementing and maintaining strong
financial controls.
Culturally aware, with excellent communication
skills and ability to work with all levels with the company and able to
demonstrate strong organisation skills, possess a high degree of numeracy and
have good analytical skills.
Strong local legislation knowledge and
cost accounting process/implementation experience
Highly proficient with Microsoft suite.
Previous experience & detailed knowledge of ERP
