An IT/Automation System Administrator Engineer is required by a leading Biopharmaceutical start up in Dublin for a permanent role in a new state of the art large-scale biologics manufacturing facility.

Reporting to the Automation Manager, the IT Automation System Administration Engineer will be assigned to the project team for the construction of a biologics manufacturing building in Ireland. Post construction this position will transition to a support role and will have System Administration responsibility for all IT Automation systems.

As IT/Automation System Administration Engineer, responsibilities include:
During the construction project supporting the design and implementation of the IT Automation systems and supporting infrastructure. Actively participating in the creation review and approval of the project deliverables, such as design documents, the configuration build, FAT, installation, commissioning and validation activities. Working with our partners in the integration of these systems.
Post project the System Administration of all IT Automation systems including DeltaV and OEM control systems, Syncade MES, OSI-PI Data Historian, and Thin Client Manager.
Regularly communicating and collaborating with the project team multi-functional team stakeholders including system vendors.
Participating in the development and implementation of the site Automation strategy and the lifecycle support and optimization of the IT Automation systems on site.

This IT/Automation System Administration Engineer will have:
A Bachelors or Master's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems or Computer Science.
At least 4 years' experience in an IS System Administration role preferably with exposure to Real Time process control systems.
Experience of Windows Server, Active Directory, Virtualization, Citrix, LAN/WAN, SQL and OSI PI Historian technologies.
The candidate will have demonstrated proficiency communicating and collaborating at a variety of levels, coupled with excellent organization and planning skills. In addition problem solving, and project management ability is essential
